Information |
First Introduced on 12th October 1944 by Confidential Admiralty Fleet Order 2269/44, PB10 was developed exclusively for use on submarines. Whilst there is very limited evidence for a colour described as "Royal Blue" used on submarines early in the war, CAFO 2269/44 was the first documented reference of PB10 specifically. This unusually bright (for a camouflage) colour would have been a common sight on late war British submarines, e.g. of the S and T classes. https://www.sovereignhobbies.co.uk/blogs/news/pb10-paint-for-late-wwii-royal-navy-submarines |
** Colour renders given above are for guidance only - differences in colour space models for physical paints versus illuminated pixels on screen and limitations of conversions between models means that what you see on your screen cannot be used for colour matching purposes. An accurate colour can be found sprayed on each tin lid and within the tin. **
Colourcoats are available in 30ml as standard. 125ml or larger quantities are available on request.
