Information

Based on our own extensive research using primary source reference material, we offer our new Royal Navy range - the most accurate on the market bar none. Documented tolerances were 10-13% Light Reflectance Value. We have opted for 10% for this version, as it was evidently the nominal intended tone. 507A was reintroduced as matt paint from 1939. The formulation was identical to 507B apart from the omission of 10 pints of Pattern 11 Dark Grey enamel paint per CWT. Enamel use was ordered to be completely suspended from 1940. From April 1943 this shade was known as G10, although 507A remained on the Rate Book of Naval Stores See our research paper here for the background information underpinning this shade.

** Colour renders given above are for guidance only - differences in colour space models for physical paints versus illuminated pixels on screen and limitations of conversions between models means that what you see on your screen cannot be used for colour matching purposes. An accurate colour can be found sprayed on each tin lid and within the tin. **

Colourcoats are available in 14ml as standard. 125ml or larger quantities are available on request.
